KEANEKARAGAMAN BINTANG LAUT (Asteroidea) DI PANTAI LAMALAKA KECAMATAN ILE BOLENG KABUPATEN FLORES TIMUR

Sea star is an invertebrate animal that included in the phylum Echinoderms from Asteroidea class. Radial symmetry shaped and generally has five or more arms does not have a frame helps movement. This study aims to determine diversity of sea (Asteroidea) Lamalaka Beach, Ile Boleng District, East Flores Regency.This research will be conducted July-August 2019, location on coast, Regency.The method used survey method, based presence species are considered represent area. The steps data collection field survey, observation, identifying each plot, observing recording their marphological characteristics.Sampling uses technique determining sampling using Area sampling. Analysis this quantitative descriptive composition can stated visual observations calculating density, relative dominance index, diversity.Based results study, found 4 Asteroidea, namely Protoreaster nodulosus, Linckia laevigata, Echinaster luzonicus, Astropecten polyacanthus. highest density calculation were P. nodulosus with value 0.78 ind / m2. while lowest was L.laevigata 0.63 27.64%, 22.35 %. index starfish obtained D <0.5, indicates there no dominate Beach. existence Regency needs preserved. One form effort preserve it conduct monitoring routine monitor condition population these waters. Besides that, also necessary increase utilization stars as one natural tourism objects Ecoedutourism object. Thus, felt by wider community so awareness maintain increased.
